Funds For The SNAP Senior Program

Councilmember David I. Weprin (D-Hollis), Chairman of the City Council Finance Committee, presented a $100,000 check recently to the administration and senior center members of the Services Now for Adult Persons (SNAP).

"SNAP provides crucial services for seniors throughout Eastern Queens. It was a priority of mine during the city’s economic situation to acquire these much-needed funds to help the organization continue their excellent work", said Weprin.
