 | | DIXIE BELLE "I'm a Pug. I'm moving to College Point with my care-takers. They used to work at Elmhurst Hospital and we lived in Jackson Heights. They treat me as an important part of the family. They picked my name for their love of the southern part of our country. I know I'll have new friends." -Translated by Duane Clark |

"How are things at your house?"

| GIRLIE "I'm a
Cocker Spaniel. I was abandoned in the pouring rain. I was running
in and out of traffic. Josh Weiss and his Basset Hound, rescued me
and found someone to adopt me. My new owners said: "She's such an
angel, she must have fallen off a cloud." I did-a rain cloud."

"I'm a Newfoundland. I have to lick all the plates before they
go into the dishwasher pick up all the shoes lying around the
houseand unroll the toilet paper after I have a drink in the
bowl. Like my owner, I have to watch my weight, and I am on a
lite diet." - Translated by Joan

"I'm a Great Pyrenees. I'm a great dog! I am glad they saved
me from the pound. It took four years for me to get adopted
because I'm a 'giant' dog. I'm new to my owners so I'm putting
my best paw forward. I don't beg for food, I don't mess the
house and I'm working on not shedding my long, gorgeous white
hair."- Translated by Ellen and Anthony

 | | TYLER "I'm a Cairn Terrier and we found each other fourteen years ago. It was good for me and my owner. She named me after hearing the historic 1841 campaign expression "Tippecanoe and Tyler too!" I always wipe my feet on the welcome mat when I come home, just like my mistress does." -Translated by Dolores Allogiamanto |

 | | MR. HUDSON "I'm a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen and was named after the butler on "Upstairs Downstairs" TV. It's been a struggle but I finally trained my parents, Rudy and Melanie, to obey my commands for food, cookies walks and playtime. My years of patience has finally paid off. It's tough raising parents." -Translated by Melanie Greco |
