Adopts 2 Buildings

City Councilmember Tony Avella (l.) and North Shore Anti-Graffiti Volunteers Ariel and Stephen Kavaseno recently adopted two commercial locations at 150th Street and 14th Avenue, Whitestone. Members of the volunteer group "adopt" locations, paint over graffiti and repeat the process when new graffiti vandalism appears.
