MAURICE PIKELNY For years the Queens Zoo has been the host for throngs of people of all ages. We were thrilled by modernization of the facilities and new animals made available for visitors to see.”

By Rev. Austin H. Armitstead

"How do you feel about the possible closing of the Queens Zoo?"

"

"

SANDRA PIKELNY “People learned about wildlife and how we could protect it and enjoy it in our city. School children love to visit the zoo on class trips.”

"

JEAN ZUCKERMAN “As an elder parent, I enjoyed hearing how everyone related their particular treat at the Zoo. The day was special and it was convenient for everyone. How badly we would feel if we lost the Zoo.”
Mrs. Smith AN AIDE TO MRS. ZUCKERMAN “Finding new homes for the many creatures currently housed at the Zoo will not be easy. Please keep the Zoo here!”

NOE OMAR ACOSTA “It’s good to have the animals and birds on display for the kids and everyone else to enjoy. We have animal behavior to observe and appreciate. I think it would be terrible to close any zoo. I hope they think about it fully, before they make their final decision.”
TROY GEBORDE “Many people make it a point of saying what upsets them about decisions being made in our City. In Queens, the threat of closing the Queens Zoo, troubles them greatly. Keep it open, for people of all ages.
