OLGA PAPPAGEORGE “The Salvation Army is serving this community with many different programs for kids and adults. I am very happy working here as a volunteer. One of the themes of the Army could be, “Sharing is Caring.”

CARMEN GONZALEZ “Back in 1891 a Captain McFee had a serious problem with how to feed 1,000 of the city’s poorest people. This instituted the yearly custom of the Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle to help others. We are all happy to continue to serve others, today.”

ROBERT FELDER “I grew up in the Queens area and was always happy to see the help people received from the Salvation Army, when there was a fire or other catastrophe and families needed emergency housing, food, or understanding people to talk to.”
