ALEX CONCEPTION "Coming from a family who has dedicated their lives to helping the needy, it became inherent for me to do the same. As a mental health professional I’ve had the chance to be of service to less fortunate people and to contribute in insuring a safe and healthy community."

By Rev. Austin H. Armitstead

"How do you try to help others in life?"

JULIANA ENG "As an individual I have been able do my part in a church that serves the needs of people in the languages of English, Chinese, Spanish, and Korean. I am able to help people in many ways, in religious studies, visiting them in their homes, hospitals, and the community."
MADELINE ESPOSITO "I never was a Girl Scout, but in many ways I try to do good deeds for people. I do them without thinking. I try to have a pleasant outlook in life. I smile. People relate to smiles. There are simple things you can do —getting the mail, doing errands, opening doors, speaking with neighbors."

CHARLOTTE KEIDEL "I try to give good advice, set a good example and be there when someone needs me."
GRETA BROWN "I have been blessed with good health and this has enabled me to help others who need a helping hand, to prepare a meal, to do an errand, pay a visit, make a phone call, lend an ear. These are things that we all can do."

ELAINE SPENCER "As a school psychologist I try to advise, support and advocate for families who have children with special needs."
