Hockey Team Looking For WTC Symbol To Represent NYC In World Championship

Two days before September 11, the Mad Cows roller hockey team a group of college students with their roots in Astoria, won the NHL Breakout Tournament in New York. The Mad Cows earned the right to represent New York in the NHL Breakout World Championship in San Diego, California in January. They will compete against teams from Canada, Europe and other U.S. cities. The Mad Cows would like to represent New York by wearing new jerseys with a design properly symbolizing the heroic workers, still laboring daily at Ground Zero.
