Mary Sarro “National Night Out is an opportunity for all of our residents to join together in building an even safer and better neighborhood and meet the precinct officers, the ‘finest of the finest’.”

By Rev. Austin H. Armitstead

Why is National Night Out important?

Lillian Kowalsky “This special night is important for the police and the community because it gives them a way to meet under pleasant and happy circumstances. We say to the crooks that the police and community have a common concern to work together for a safer city.”
Ralph Moreno “This annual special night gives the residents of the community an opportunity to participate with the New York City Police Department. This will improve relations for all of us. ”

Deputy Inspector Jamieson “Police and community working together will be witnessed throughout the city on Aug. 7 and we are honored to be the host precinct, (115th Pct.), for our area in Queens. We invite you to come here or to your precinct. We salute our Community Affairs office, all officers and the public.”
Sgt. James Sullivan “It’s a great opportunity for the members of the 115th Pct. to interact with the community who support us, today and 365 days-a-year.”

Karl Christensen “Our neighborhood association and I think it’s a great idea to have this special night throughout the city. We appreciate the service that our police render the public and we have a chance to meet and thank the officers.”
