During the summer I enjoy the outdoor life and will be enjoying time with my children and friends adn will have a lot of fun and I enjoy the work with volunteers in Elmhurst Hospital.”

What do you look forward to doing in the summer?
Praveen Kadimcherla “I enjoy serving as a volunteer at Elmhurst Hospital Center and during the summer I can have a lot more time than during the busy school year. My Indian heritage is enriched by meeting, working and sharing with people from many parts of the world. I like to play basketball, too.”
Raymond Kwong “I live in Woodside, near Elmhurst Hospital and in addition to trying to make a little money, I serve as a volunteer at the hospital. I get to help a lot of people twice a week. this allows me to contribute to my community. I attend St. John’s University. I was born here but my folks came from mainland China.”
William Ramirez “I go to the parks in the area with my young son and daughter and we all have a good time together. They enjoy the water, beautiful trees and flowers and seeing people enjoy themselves. I’m originally from Puerto rico and enjoy volunteering to help people at Elmhurst Hospital.”
Luz Portuhondo “First, I look forward to vacationing in my country, the Dominican Republic and introducing my friend from Peru to my family and friends. I look forward to doing this in August. We live and work in an international world.”
Adriana Romero “I’m a volunteer worker at Elmhurst Hospital and enjoy translating in various parts fo the hospital. This service makes the families, staff and everyone feel good. I like to go to the beach with my friends and see how everyone enjoys the summer vacations.”
