Regal Heights Hosts Open House

Regal Heights Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Queen’s newest health care facility, located in Jackson Heights, hosted their first official Open House since opening last spring. Over 150 professionals and leaders from the community attended the event, which featured live music, a hot and cold buffet, delectable desserts and tours of the facility.

Two of the distinguished guests included City Councilmember John Sabini and Assemblymember Ivan Lafayette from the 34th Assembly District. Many guests commented that the grand lobby looked like that of a Manhattan hotel, and that the areas for resident dining, rehabilitation and activities were large and spacious. The amenities and upscale construction of the facility are reminders that the owners of Regal Heights have extensive backgrounds not only in health care but also in the hotel industry.

Amid holiday music and a festive atmosphere, the admissions department led small groups around the facility, touring resident floors, dining areas, the Regal Café, ice cream parlor, coffee shop, libraries and large state-of-the-art rehabilitation areas.

Located at 70-05 35th Ave., Regal Heights Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is a 280-bed facility offering long term care, short term rehabilitation and subacute care. For more information regarding admission, call (718) 662-5100.
