Avella Views Senior Art

On Oct. 28th, Tony Avella, chief of staff for state Senator Toby Stavisky, represented the senator at an art exhibit at the First Presbyterian Church of Whitestone which displayed the work of 30 artists from the senior centers in North Flushing and Whitestone. Avella viewed artwork that was created as a result of skills gained at senior center art classes given by instructors, Maureen McGuire (l.) and Marilyn Moscowitz. Avella also met the artists and discussed their work with them.
