Tabone Garners CWA Support

During the recent strike by members of the Communications Workers of America union against Verizon (formerly Bell Atlantic), Vince Tabone (r.), Republican candidate for the 36th Assembly district seat to be vacated by Assemblymember Denis Butler's impending resignation, talked with picketers at the Verizon facility at 19th Avenue and 43rd Street. "It was a rainy day and I brought some rain slickers," Tabone reported. "They were very well received."
