“The Kiwanis Club is interested in all community activities in the area. We are a community service organization and are interested in supporting the police National Night Out along with other organizations.”

“The National Night Out is an opportunity to unite with our neighbors and police officers. We feel happy to get to know more people and feel a bond that is supported through our precinct community council.”

“I’m the leader of the band that’s playing tonight and we played last year, too. We call ourselves Chameleon. It’s fun and the community is out here celebrating together. There are people of all ages here. It’s great to see the children dancing around the flag pole.”

“What can I say? I love this band music and the enthusiasm of people coming out together. You see your neighbors and friends. It’s too bad there aren’t more opportunities to feel safe.”

“I’m a former member of the 115th Precinct Community Council and served with them for a number of years. I want to continue to be faithful to their work and the good service of our police.”

“The cops and the kids and everyone are having a lot of fun together. It’s fun to hear the band playing and there’s plenty of food for all of us. They are giving us coloring books and everything.”
